Myriah Jaworski to Appear on New York Privacy Act Panel

Following in the footsteps of California, New York State may soon pass a comprehensive privacy law of its own - the New York Privacy Act.

On October 28th, Octillo Member and Litigation Team Lead, Myriah Jaworski, will serve as a panelist at an upcoming session presented by City & State NYN Media, the Data Privacy Alliance, and O'Donnell Associates entitled The New York Privacy Act: What to Expect.

The session will discuss the proposed legislation, which includes broad reaching policy changes that will give New Yorkers greater control of their data and shift how companies handle data in New York State.
