
Octillo Partner, Jordan Fischer, will present at the 21st Annual SecureWorld Seattle Cybersecurity Conference, taking place November 9-10, 2022 at the Meydenbauer Center in Seattle.
On Thursday November 10 at 9:00 am, Jordan will co-present the day’s Opening Keynote, ‘BEC Attacks, Crypto, and the Investigative Powers of the Secret Service,' along with Andrew Frey, Financial Analyst (Forensics), from the United States Secret Service - San Francisco Field Office.
During both days of the SecureWorld Seattle Cybersecurity Conference, Jordan will also lead a four -part [PLUS Course] entitled: Privacy & Security by Design & Default: Understanding the Convergence of Law, Policy & Technology.' The course will begin with an overview of general privacy and security legal and policy principles, and then will focus on two key laws that are pushing the privacy and security laws: the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). Using these laws, Jordan will discuss case studies, and how to communicate, plan, and strategize on products and solutions that incorporate privacy and security requirements.
