Carolyn was officially admitted to the New York State Bar on January 9, 2023 and will add bench strength to the Firm's fast-growing Compliance Advisory Practice Group.
Octillo’s Compliance Advisory Practice Group helps organizations across a variety of industries, regions, and sizes tackle complex legal challenges pertaining to state, federal, and global privacy regulations, including the CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws, GDPR, BIPA, NY SHIELD, TCPA, and HIPAA. As a full-time attorney on the team, Carolyn will advise clients in the development of enterprise-wide data security and privacy compliance programs to address compliance with these regulations. Her practice will include drafting and implementing privacy and security policies and protocols, assisting clients with matters related to marketing, adtech, and data processing agreements, and advising on industry best practices.
Carolyn joined Octillo as a Law Clerk in September after graduating from the Boston College Law School in May 2022. She also gained experience as a legal intern with Octillo during her third year of law school, where she assisted attorneys with legal research and drafting and editing blogs and articles.
