NEW YORK, July 19, 2022 – Octillo, in partnership with the Spencer Educational Foundation, is proud to announce the 2022 Bring I.T. Scholarship recipients, Cassandra Butch, a senior from Bentley University, and Joshua Gordon, a senior from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Bring I.T. is an annual scholarship program, administered through the Spencer Educational Foundation and designed to support students pursuing studies in risk management and insurance who self-identify with a traditionally underrepresented race/ethnicity or as female.
Cassandra and Joshua will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to advance their studies in risk management and insurance with a focus on technology, data security, and privacy. They are invited to attend the 2022 Advisen Cyber Insights Conference in October 2022 in New York, NY.

Cassandra Butch is pursuing a degree in actuarial science with a business studies and data technologies minor. She has been involved in advocacy groups, such as Students Advocating Gender Equality (SAGE) and PRIDE in addition to serving as a member of several collegiate organizations and honor societies, including Circle K, Alpha Psi Omega, Gamma Iota Sigma, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Joshua Gordon is pursuing a degree in actuarial mathematics with a statistics and business minor. He is currently an officer and head basketball coach for the Special Olympics and served as a Member of the Student Actuaries at Michigan State University, Ann Arbor, and as Secretary of the Michigan Basketball Analytics Association.
